We kicked off 2025 on board Norwegian Getaway! We wanted to check out NCL's new More at Sea inclusions program and so we booked the first sailing of the year on NCL Getaway. In the full review, we share everything that we loved, some things that we didn't love, and a couple of big things that we hated about our time on board. The Norwegian Getaway is a Breakaway-class ship from Norwegian. She launched in 2013 and just underwent drydock last year in 2024. We checked out the food, drinks, entertainment, and all of the public spaces across the ship so that we could share our complete thoughts on the ship. The NCL Getaway is a "little sister" to the Norwegian Encore which I sailed solo back in October of 2023. After a couple Breakaway-class ships, Norwegian made some serious design changes and launched the Breakaway Plus-class of cruise ships. While similar in many ways, there are some BIG changes.
