Sukhothai is the Thai speciality restaurant on Norwegian Luna, and it’s new to Norwegian Cruise Line’s Prima Plus class ships. In this video, we take you inside Sukhothai and show you exactly what it’s like, including the food, atmosphere and overall experience. This is one of the ship’s speciality dining venues, which means there is usually an additional charge to dine here. If you have Norwegian’s Free at Sea package, you can use one of your speciality dining credits instead. Here’s what we tried: Thai spring rolls, chicken satay and salt and pepper prawns to start Pad Thai and roasted duck curry for the mains Fried bananas with ice cream (Gluay Khaeg) to finish The prawns were packed with flavour, the satay sauce was really good, and the duck curry was rich and flavourful with really soft duck. If you’re cruising on Norwegian Luna and wondering whether Sukhothai is worth it, this will give you a good idea of what to expect.
