Our adventure begins as we embark on Island Princess to visit a number of ports in the UK, Ireland, Iceland and Greenland. In this video we cover the tips and tricks that we use during embarkation day on a Princess cruise. We embarked Island Princess from Mayflower terminal in Southampton and we were amazed at the embarkation process. We spent the time before our cabin was ready exploring the ship, we visited The Sanctuary, Spa and the children and kids clubs onboard. The Princess sail away did not disappoint and luckily the weather was on our side. We had our first evening meal in the Bordeaux restaurant and enjoyed some of the entertainment onboard including a great theatre show from Jay MCGee. It belongs to the Coral-class of ships and has been a popular choice for travellers seeking a cruise experience with a balance of comfort and luxury. Princess Cruises, in general, is known for offering a range of amenities and services to make passengers' experiences enjoyable. The ship offers various entertainment options, including live performances, musicals, and themed events. Island Princess provides a variety of cabins and suites to cater to different preferences and budgets. We are Tom and Dom and we experienced our first cruise on the MSC Virtuosa during her UK staycation cruises in 2021. We are relatively new to cruising, however we can now say we are officially hooked. Our mission is provide a fair and balanced review of our travels. We look at the types of food that is available onboard, from main dining rooms, room service, buffets and pool side snacks. We include menus for each of cruises so that we can share the selection of drinks and meals that are available. Entertainment onboard a cruise ship is important to us and we enjoy theatre production shows, live music, quizzes and game shows. We love to explore different ports and destinations and enjoy sharing tips and tricks so that you can make the most of each port. We often explore ports independently but also book excursions that are interesting to us.
