About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

The cruise ship Satoshi (P&O Pacific Dawn / Regal Princess) - may have just been saved from the scrap yard! Built as Regal Princess in 1991, the ship sailed as Pacific Dawn for P&O Cruises from 2007-2020. However during the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Pacific Dawn was laid up. She was sold to Ocean Builders in late 2020 to become a Cryptocurrency community off the coast of Panama and renamed Satoshi. That venture fell through, and the ship looked set to be scrapped in India alongside her sister ship Karnika / Pacific Jewel. However it now appears Satoshi will sail on, with a new owner. The ship has arrived at Bar, Montenegro, and is docked alongside NCL's Norwegian Jewel awaiting future cruising. -- ▶ SUBSCRIBE for regular cruise ship updates & maritime history: https://bit.ly/38BR2DK ▶ CHECK OUT my Cunard history website: https://www.chriscunard.com/ ▶ READ: My Maritime History books: https://bit.ly/3nISs3w ▶ CHECK OUT my maritime lectures: https://www.chrisframe.com.au/ ▶ FOLLOW ME on Instagram: https://bit.ly/3qg1AOR ▶ CONNECT WITH ME on Facebook: https://bit.ly/39sBKQP Some extra reading: ▶ Crypto News: https://cryptonews.com/news/insurance-companies-reportedly-sink-crypto-cruise-ship-ms-sa-9377.htm ▶ Trade Winds: https://www.tradewindsnews.com/cruise-and-ferry/cruise-start-up-saves-ocean-builders-satoshi-from-a-date-with-shipbreakers/2-1-987854 -- Image References: Thank you to Alison Morton for the images of Pacific Dawn taken at Manila Bay.
