About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

Pitcairn Island is the only inhabited island of the Pitcairn Islands, and some of the inhabitants are descendants from the mutineers from HMS Mutiny (the same ship and people in the books and movies about Mutiny on the Bounty). There isn't a port of much of a dock, so cruise ships go around it, and the views are stunning. Islanders, even some of the Bounty descendants, come aboard the ship to sell Pitcairn and HMS Bounty themed souvenirs. HMS Bounty was in Tahiti when a group of men led by Fletcher Christian mutinied, sending the Captain William Bly back to England on a small boat with food and men loyal to him. The mutineers lived on Tahiti for a while, but some spread out in the South Pacific knowing men from England would be back to find them. Some, along with their Tahitian wives, set up a community on Pitcairn Island, and Adamstown is still the sole settlement. With an interesting history and gorgeous, rugged scenery, remote Pitcairn is worth a cruise-around. #pitcairnisland #pitcairn #hmsbounty #mutiny #southpacific #island #travel #remoteisland https://www.bensound.com/ License 204507727
