P&O Arvia Day 3 | Tortola | Cane Garden Bay & Callwood Rum Distillery | Keel and Cow 2024

Hi everyone, In this week's P&O Arvia Caribbean Cruise video we are in the British Virgin Islands at the largest Island, #Tortola. We start by admiring our view from the ship with a quick breakfast at The Quays. We then get a bus over to Cane Garden Bay, the bus journey itself is an adventure! We have a walk along the beach and then head over to Callwood Rum Distillery to sample the different types of rum that they make. It was 5 samples for $1 which was amazing! We then head back to the beach and try the famous Painkiller cocktail, from the first place we tried this it was a premixed one but it was still very nice and refreshing. We both have a dip in the sea, the water was such a lovely colour and we enjoyed our time here admiring the view and just really appreciating where we were. After a while on the beach we decided to walk a bit further and came up to a beach bar called Quito's Gazebo. We then got to try a real Painkiller cocktail made fresh and it was so so good! We also had the BEST margarita we have ever had from here and it was huge haha We decided after lots of drinks we should probably get some food so I had some chicken tenders and Dane had Fish Tacos which are the best he has ever had, very fresh. We kept meaning to leave but we were having such a great time that we waited until the last bus. We got that bus no problem, but as you will see in the video it all gets a bit nerve racking to see if we will get back to the ship! Spoiler alert we did make it back on board #pandocruises and while we still had our swimwear on we decided to take a dip in the swim up bar while it wasn't as crowded. We had many drinks by this stage and after being out in the sun with the sea air we were shattered. We thought we could just have a 40 minute nap but that didn't happen and it was about an hour and a half later when we woke up. We were meant to go to the Limelight Club this evening but we missed it and we were so devastated it took a lot to come back from. But we found the strength and got ready and decided we would try the Keel and Cow instead it was really good but we do go back later in the trip when we are in a better place to truly appreciate it haha We finished the night by watching Liss Jones doing the Lady Gaga tribute, she was really good and we enjoyed this show. We had a brilliant day in Tortola even if our evening didn't go exactly to plan it was still a fantastic day and we can't wait to share more of the #cruisevlogs with you!
