Taking the title of world's biggest cruise ship from Symphony of the Seas, this ship has 8 distinct neighborhoods. As part of this cruise review of Wonder of the Seas, we examine several aspects of the cruise experience. While the ship is the 5th in the Oasis Class, there are still some new amenities and venues found only on Wonder of the Seas. ----WONDER OF THE SEAS OUTDOOR DECKS----- We start this Wonder of the Seas review on the outdoor decks. The pool deck has been redesigned, moving Splashaway Bay closer to the waterslides and the Beach Pool. Now, the two main pools are midship. Additional seating and new loungers can also be found on decks 15 and 16. The sports deck has been reconfigured as well. Now, the new outdoor playground, the Wonder Playscape, has replaced one of the Flowrider surf simulators. There is a newly themed mini-golf course on the sports deck along with a zip line and the 10-story Ultimate Abyss. Not to mention there are two rock climbing walls above the Boardwalk neighborhood and a running track on deck 5 of the ship. ----DINING ON WONDER OF THE SEAS ----- There are several casual dining options on the world's largest cruise ship. Among our favorites is the sandwich shop, Park Café, and the Mexican eatery, El Loco Fresh. Other casual spots include a hot dog stand, pizza parlor, and the Windjammer buffet. In fact, Wonder of the Seas has the largest Windjammer in the fleet. For our Wonder of the Seas cruise, the main dining room was open for breakfast and dinner every day, and for lunch on sea days/late port days. We dined at in the MDR twice and enjoyed both meals. We received excellent service and well prepared starters and entrees. As part of our Wonder of the Seas cruise review, we also dined at several specialty restaurants. We enjoyed the Southern home-cooking at the newest restaurant in the Royal Caribbean fleet, The Mason Jar, during both brunch and dinner. We loved the pizza and Italian favorites at Giovanni's Italian Kitchen on the Wonder of the Seas cruise ship as well. ---WONDER OF THE SEAS ENTERTAINMENT ----- The biggest cruise ship in the world had a number of nighttime shows and entertainment. Our Wonder of the Seas cruise had several signature production shows. Among the standouts was the Aqua Theater diving show, inTENse. There was also the main theater show, Voices, and the ice skating show, Ice Spectacular 365. Further, Effectors II: Crash and Burn is scheduled to debut later this year in the main theater. The bars and lounges on the world's largest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean Wonder of the Seas had live music every night. There was a guitarist in the pub, a piano player in the Schooner Bar, and the rock band Phoenix in the Music Hall. Some of our favorite Wonder of the Seas bars include The Mason Jar, the 3 Lime and Coconut bars, and the new Cantina Fresca.
