Scenic Ulvik Norway | Fjords, Waterfalls & Nature Center

Ulvik, Norway is a tender port for cruise ships and the tenders go right to the Brakanes Hotel. Here, you can find a small souvenir shop, coffee and restrooms. We drove through the small town seeing the church and some houses. From there, we took a tour that drove beside Hardangerfjord to the Hardanger Bridge. We then passed the small town of Eidfjord on our way to The Fossli Viewpoint (from the Fossli Hotel) of the Voringfoss Waterfall which falls 600-feet into the canyon below. On our way back to Ulvik, we visited The Norway Nature Center or the Hardangervidda Nature and Wildlife Center in the Hardanger National Park. We first saw goats acting as lawn mowers for the turf houses. The nature center has an incredible amount of information on Norway, its animals and its history. There is a fabulous movie with stunning views of Norway's nature.
