"Silver Whisper" & "MSC Orchestra" depart from Southampton - 09/09/2014

A quieter day in Southampton with only two cruise ships in port on Tuesday 9th September 2014. Both were meant to depart at 18:00 but for unknown reasons, they had their departure times delayed. The first to get underway was Silversea Cruises' "Silver Whisper" from the 'Mayflower' Terminal at 18:58 heading off on a 17-night cruise to Quebec with the first Port of Call being Fowey, Cornwall. The second ship was MSC Cruises' "MSC Orchestra" who departed from the 'City' Terminal at 20:31 continuing her cruise down to the Mediterranean with the next Port of Call being Vigo. Departures were preceded by the Hapag-Lloyd container ship "Philadelphia Express" having departed at 17:10 heading for Charleston. Viewed from Town Quay.
