Creator's Key Takeaways

All-in day under 150 bucks. Absolutely killer day we had on the beach.

The water is absolutely stunning. It is not overcrowded. We got maybe about 100 people here on the beach with us.

Mac pie was very good. I'm not a coleslaw fan though. Yeah, that's all right. I mean that was very good.

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

This Antigua cruise vlog includes: Rockwood Beach Antigua review, Antigua taxi costs from cruise port, Antigua beach day on a budget, Antigua cruise excursion alternatives, Carvela's Restaurant review, local Antiguan food, things to do in Antigua cruise port, and how to enjoy an unforgettable Antigua port day for under $150. Cruising to Antigua and wondering if the cruise excursions are actually worth it? We decided to skip the organized tours and do our own thing instead, and it turned into one of our favorite port days of the entire cruise. For less than $150, Noah and I took a taxi from the Antigua cruise port to Rockwood Beach, rented beach chairs and an umbrella, floated in the crystal-clear Caribbean water, and spent a few hours simply enjoying the moment. After the beach, we walked across the street to Carvela's Restaurant for fresh lobster, curried goat, fungi, mac pie, plantains, and some incredible local flavors. More than anything, this wasn't just another cruise port review. It was a reminder that some of the best cruise memories don't come from the most expensive excursions. Sometimes they're found slowing down, sharing a great meal, and spending time with the people who matter most. Chapters 00:00 Skip the Excursions in Antigua?
