While travelling to my Danube river cruise on the Plantours Rousse Prestige, I spend a night in the Austrian ÖBB Nightjet night train in a 4 bed cabin. (This is not Deutsche Bahn, but similar.) This night train service offers a variety of seating a sleeping classes. I think I would do this again if I was travelling with friends, but alone...
