SOUTHAMPTON BUSY WITH FOUR CRUISE SHIPS DEPARTING 03/08/24

The Port of Southampton was busy yet again yesterday the 3rd August 2024 as four cruise ships were departing for their various cruise destinations. We had the Celebrity Cruise Ship 'Celebrity Apex' her departure was from the Horizon Cruise Terminal just after 16:00pm for Oporto Portugal. The Princess Cruises 'Sky Princess' departed from the Queen Elizabeth II Cruise Terminal at just about the same time as 'Celebrity Apex' and the 'Sky Princess' is heading for Bergen Norway. The P&O Cruises 'Ventura' followed a little later leaving the Mayflower Cruise Terminal just after 17:00pm as she was passing town quay she gave a couple of blasts from her ships horn and her fleetmate the 'Iona' which was berthed at the Ocean Cruise Terminal replied back to 'Ventura', the Ventura's next port call is to La Coruna Spain. The P&O Cruise Ship 'Iona' made her departure from the Ocean Cruise Terminal just before 18:30pm and her next port call is to Stavanger Norway.
