We were told that it was going down basic water like class 1 and the small kids would be fine. This was back in 2011 and up in Northern California there was a lot of rain. We didn’t know it at the time but a couple of people would lose their lives on this same river. It started off pretty good and we were all excited about doing this. But as we started going down it didn’t seem like our guide was directing us very well. We went into multiple trees and then some major rapids even though they don’t look all that big in the video.
