This is the official trailer for "Torn Castle", the third volume of the acclaimed "On The Road To Alang" video series by ship historian Peter Knego. The 60 minute feature comes with two bonus tracks (top to bottom tours of the ship as the WINDSOR CASTLE and later while in Greece as the MARGARITA L) and tells the story of the RMS WINDSOR CASTLE, which was launched by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and served on Union-Castle Line's UK to South African run from 1960 through 1977. The WINDSOR CASTLE was then sold to Greek billionaire John S. Latsis for use as an accommodation ship in the Middle East, then laid up in Greece before being sold for scrap in 2005. Knego goes aboard the remarkably well preserved ship in Greece and later in India during the sad, at times shocking but always fascinating process of her demolition.
