Welcome to a walk along Cordova Street from Coal Harbour to Gastown in Vancouver, Canada, offering a diverse range of sights and attractions showcasing the city's blend of natural beauty, urban architecture, and historical charm. We start our walk in Coal Harbour, a picturesque waterfront area with stunning views of the North Shore Mountains. Take in the sights of luxury yachts, seaplanes, and the marina. We proceed to Vancouver Convention Centre adjacent to Coal Harbour, a architectural marvel known for its unique design, featuring a large glass roof that resembles a sailboat. The green roof on top of the building is also worth noticing. Then Jack Poole Plaza located next to the convention center, an open space is named after Jack Poole, a key figure in bringing the 2010 Winter Olympics to Vancouver. It offers a great view of the waterfront and the Olympic Cauldron. Next is Canada Place, an iconic building with its distinctive white sails, is one of Vancouver's most recognizable landmarks. It's a hub for transportation, tourism, and conventions. You can often find events, exhibits, and cruise ships docked here. We walk by Portside Park, a green space along the waterfront with beautiful views, benches, and walking paths. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.
