Victoria Peak Hong Kong from Cruise Port (4K)

Victoria Peak (太平山) is a must-visit destination in Hong Kong. We booked a Hong Kong Highlights Tour excursion from the cruise line during our March 2018 14 Day voyage aboard the Majestic Princess cruise ship. From the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal the bus drove under the Cross Harbour Tunnel to Hong Kong Island. Overall it was about an hour before we got to the Peak Tram Central Station. We then went up to the peak via The Peak Tram funicular car. It made a brief stop at Barker Road before we got off at the Peak Terminus. From there we enjoyed really amazing views of Hong Kong from Lion's Pavilion Lookout, including the harbor, despite the weather being a bit cloudy. At the Victoria Peak we also saw the Peak Marketplace, where many locals sell goods and souvenirs. There was also a shopping area called the Peak Galleria Shopping Centre where the bathrooms were located.
