We made a port call in Santa Cruz de la Palma, Canary Islands while on a Transatlantic Cruise. We were sailing on Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas. It was our first stop after sailing across the Atlantic Ocean. It's a nice little town right on the water's edge. It had beautiful black sand beaches. There are some buildings along the waterfront known as the Balconies de la Maritime. They are very pretty, but there aren't many to see. You can take a tour of a National Park or a volcano while on this island, but we just walked around for a few hours.
