About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description↓

My wife and I had to travel up to Washington state for a meeting with our homebuilder, and that presented our first opportunity to walk through our dream house which has been under construction for the last two months. It was a real thrill for us to see the house in person, since up until now we've only seen floor plans and still photos. In this video, I give you a full walk-through of the house. They had just finished putting up the drywall inside the house, and were hours away from priming the walls for painting. On the exterior, the stucco work was partially complete. None of the concrete had been poured around the outside of the house yet, and the block wall fencing hadn't gone in yet except for along the south property line. After a complete tour of the house, the story turns to what it was like to fly on a commercial flight during a global pandemic. The airplanes were mostly empty, as were the airports. We considered ourselves lucky that they were still serving food in the airports. We would have had a real problem if the restaurants had been closed. Finally, I share some interesting views from our flights... the scenery of California, Oregon, and Washington... including Mt Shasta, Point Reyes, Moss Landing, and Santa Cruz. I also can't resist pointing out the (empty) Grand Princess cruise ship, which is at anchor in San Francisco Bay.
