What should you do during a tornado (er… water spout)... at sea?! THAT was the (slightly panicked) question we asked ourselves in onboard the Celebrity Constellation this August! As we were starting the last leg of our stunning 9-day Mediterranean cruise onboard the ‘Connie’ with our teenage boys, along came a nasty summer storm... complete with TWO WATER SPOUTS!!! And our bad luck didn't stop there! Thanks to the severe weather, we had a port cancelled... but not before finding out that our flight home from Venice, Italy had also been cancelled!!! It wasn't all bad, though. We loved our time on the Constellation - and had a great time in the Croatian ports of Dubrovnik and Zadar... despite the storms! For those who are considering going on a Celebrity Cruise and wondering how to navigate a patch of bad weather - with or without teens - you've landed on the right video. If you're planning on sailing on another Millennium class ship (the Infinity, Summit or Millennium), or sailing the Eastern Mediterranean with any cruise line, this video may also be just what you're looking for. You'll also get our impressions of the onboard specialty restaurant 'Sushi On Five', as well as a variety of meals in both the Oceanview Cafe buffet and the Constellation's Main Dining Room, the San Marco.
