About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

Wellington, New Zealand, is often called Wellywood since it is New Zealand's movie making capital. Most famous for Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies, WETA special effects, Stone Street Studios and Park Road Productions have created many films and Hollywood blockbusters. While we saw the outside of the Stone Street Studios when there was a big screen for the filming of the latest Avatar movie and the outside of Park Road Productions, we visited Weta Cave with a small museum of movie memorabilia including props from LOTR and the Hobbit and others like King Kong, Avatar and more. It's a must-see for movie fans. We also see a Weta, the insect the special effects studio is named for! From Orcs to Gandalf's hat to Gollum, there is a lot to see in this little museum. #newzealand #travel #wellingtonnz #wellington #movieset #movies #moviemaking
