It's been a while since we went to the Big 4 Gold Coast Holiday Park at Helensvale, Qld and a few things had changed. In this video we will show you some of the highlights of this fantastic Park. The girls are getting older now and have been asking us to trust them with a weekend alone at home for a while so when some friends of ours suggested a weekend away camping we took the plunge. The Big 4 Gold Coast Holiday Park is only about 45 minutes away from us so if anything was to go wrong we could get home quickly. Not only did they manage to look after themselves but we came home to the house having been cleaned (we know what you're thinking) and the washing done. Best of all the dogs had been fed and exercised. The Gold Coast Holiday Park is right across the main road from the major Queensland Theme Parks so it is ideal for anyone wanting to spend a weekend at the water parks or on the rollercoasters. You can also get a discount on the tickets if you stay there. We've had our time at the theme parks and just wanted to enjoy the rest and the pool on this trip. So they proved they could do it for a weekend, might try a full week next time.
