YouTube Video Description

Everyone says you have to ride the train in Skagway… some of us were apprehensive about a 3+ hour train ride, so we made a deal for a half train and half bus excursion. But 30 minutes into the train ride, all were in agreement that it was amazing!! The White Pass Railroad was built during the gold rush to take miners from ground level in Skagway up through the mountains and into the Yukon where the gold was. During the ride, there is narration that tells the history of the building of the railroad and it’s purpose, but with an entertainment flair to keep it interesting. The views are breathtaking!! You can watch from the comfort of your seat through the windows or you can step out onto the platform for an unobstructed view. We could look down, straight down a cliff! And we even spotted a bear!! It was a ride to remember and we now agree with everyone else that it is a must do. It is pricey, but 100% worth the money! Please SUBSCRIBE, Comment, Like, Share & Follow!
