The Alaska cruise season usually only runs until September time. - David and Sally Abel, the British couple quarantined on board the Diamond Princess at the start of the pandemic have said that the event hasn't put them off cruising. They were quarantined to their cabins for two weeks before contracting Coronavirus and being taken to hospital in Japan. The couple has another 5 cruises booked and are looking forward to travelling again. - The keel has been laid for Viking Mars, the 8th ocean cruise ship for Viking Cruises. The ship will carry 930 passengers and will set sail in 2022. - MSC have cancelled cruises on board the MSC Magnifica until April 2021. The MSC Grandiosa is currently still sailing and has been, almost continually since July of 2020. - Princess Cruises have added a feature to their Ocean Medallion technology called Ocean Sportsbook.
