Alternative data on cruise stocks - uncorrelated with what you have.
Expertise-weighted creator sentiment time series for the publicly traded cruise companies (CCL, RCL, NCLH, VKNG) and their ships. Operational signals extracted from full transcripts. The data feed buy-side analysts can't source from Bloomberg or any generic social listening platform.
The signals
Cruise sentiment time series
Monthly weighted sentiment per cruise line and per ship, with 12+ months of stable-pipeline signal and earlier years available for ramp-period backfill. Topic-level breakdown (dining, value, service, ship condition). Useful as a leading indicator of booking demand.
Expert vs. mainstream divergence
When expert creators rate a brand significantly lower than casual travelers, latent brand risk is rising. Casuals are most easily impressed by marketing; experts see the gaps first.
Operational issue extraction
When creators flag understaffed dining, broken amenities, or policy backlash, those signals show up in earnings 1-2 quarters later. We tag severity and trend the volume.
New ship reception
Day-by-day creator sentiment from inaugural sailings. Comparison to prior ships in the same class. Content-velocity curves predicting first-year booking demand.
