10 BEST THINGS TO DO IN THE FRENCH-SPEAKING PROVINCE OF QUEBEC, CANADA

Not everyone even realises that Canada HAS a French-speaking province, but it does, it's called Quebec (the capital is Quebec City, but Montreal is its financial heart) and approximately 10 million Canadians live there! I've recently got back from what was an awesome road trip around Quebec and this video shows the best 10 things to do here, from enjoying maple syrup (in all its forms) at a sugar shack (I went to the yummy Sucrerie de la Montagne) to hiking, to cycling, to enjoying its spas - the Scandinavian spa near the resort of Mt Tremblant was amazing. There's also lots of cider to try, ditto wine (there are lots of orchard and vineyards in this province) as well as mountains to visit. You can hike up them or down them or instead take a gondola ride (cable car / tramway) or chairlift to the top to enjoy the view. As well as mountains Quebec has lots of lakes and there are lots of wonderfully scenic boat rides to be enjoyed. I enjoyed a board cruise on the Grand Cru from Magog the best. This region of southern Quebec is very close to the US border and the landscape resembles Vermont. Other great things to do include walking along the Sentier de Cimes - a brilliantly designed accessible walkway which takes you above the trees - and enjoying chilling in an adirondack chair or two!
