Come along with me on a 5-day Caribbean cruise from Port Canaveral aboard the Carnival Freedom! In this vlog, we visit Nassau, Bahamas, Carnival’s private island Half Moon Cay, and Grand Turk in Turks & Caicos. If you're considering this itinerary or planning a short Caribbean cruise from Florida, this video will give you a look at the ports, excursions, and overall experience. During this sailing, I tried two different Carnival cruise excursions. One of the highlights was the EVE Party Boat Excursion in Nassau, which was brand new when I booked it. There were no reviews or excursions listed at the time, so we went in completely blind, but we ended up having a great time! The excursion includes a boat ride to Rose Island in the Bahamas, music, drinks (1 free included, the rest we had to pay for), and a fun party atmosphere. The only downside was that I definitely wish we had more time on Rose Island because the water there was beautiful. I also briefly show the Aqua Trax Watercraft Adventure, another excursion booked directly through Carnival. This was actually my second time doing this excursion, and it was just as fun as I remembered. While riding the jetski in Half Moon Cay, I even spotted a sea turtle and a nursing shark, which made the experience even more memorable.
