This latest update from Alang features two once well known and popular cruise ships, which last sailed as the CELESTYAL CRYSTAL and the CELESTYAL OLYMPIA but are best known in Western waters as NCL's1980-built LEEWARD and Royal Caribbean's 1982-built SONG OF AMERICA. These two once celebrated and beloved ships are meeting their end after long careers. In addition to the demolition footage, host Peter Knego provides a full history and top-to-bottom tour of the CELESTYAL CRYSTAL, which had some very challenged beginnings with groundings, partial sinkings and a devastating fire but somehow emerged from it all as a state of the art cruise ship.
