Carnival Vista Maiden Voyage May 2016. Absolutely great free experience at Port Amber Cove, Dominican Republic. Pool, Water Slide, Beach, Waterfalls. Nice port shopping area to stroll around and enjoy. Restaurants, Roof Top Bar, CocoCana Lounge. Great prices for souvenirs . Really great deals at the duty free store. No Taxes. Cheap Rum Prices. Fees for Zip line, Peddle Boats, Cabana rental. We ate lunch around 1pm before getting off. $$$ Saving Tip. You can walk back to the ship to eat. Relax and go back to the port. Next trip in March to Amber Cove, I think we will debark ship at 11. Enjoy pool. Head back to ship about 2. Have a late lunch, change clothes and go back to port around 4ish to enjoy some shopping at the port. We will make sure to share this adventure in March. Carnival Vista was docked from 11am-7pm.
