Anthem of the Seas: Medical Evacuation - May 11th, 2018

On May 11th, 2018 as the Anthem of the Seas was sailing north back home to Cape Liberty NJ from Labadee Haiti she had to conduct a medical evacuation. Changing course to move closer to the shoreline the coast guard sent out a plane to monitor the situation and report on any fluctuations in the winds and ship movement to keep the helicopter safe at all times. In total 3 people were airlifted off the ship; the ill passenger, a family member, and the ship doctor. Itinerary: Day 1: Bayonne, NJ (5/3/18 from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM) Day 2: Day at Sea (5/4/18) Day 3: Kings Wharf, Bermuda (5/5/18 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM) Day 4: Day at Sea (5/6/18) Day 5: Philipsburg, St. Maarten (5/7/18 from 12:15 PM to 8:00 PM) Day 6: San Juan, Puerto Rico (5/8/18 from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM) Day 7: Labadee, Haiti (5/9/18 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) Day 8: Day at Sea (5/10/18) Day 9: Day at Sea (5/11/18) Day 10: Bayonne, NJ (5/12/18)
