Follow me to Cairns with a diving live aboard with Mike Ball Dive Expeditions to snorkel with Minke Whales on the Great Barrier Reef. Then Camel Riding at Sunset in Uluru in the beautiful Red Centre. A favorite stop was the beachside community of Adelaide and the gorgeous natural beauty of Kangaroo Island where I drove in a Hertz rental. Melbourne had a cool vibe with a fun and delicious Queen Victoria Night Market, the Great Ocean Road with the 12 Apostles and the Penguin Parade to watch the tiny fairy penguins. Hobart in Tasmania was another fabulous stop with the creative award-winning MONA - Museum of Old and New Art and more amazing food. We took a detour from Brisbane to Fiji for a diving break and to finish up my daughter's dive certification with Whitetip Marine Adventures - Fiji before ending back in Sydney where we toured the Sydney Opera House, surfed at Bondi Beach with Let's Go Surfing, Bondi Beach, took ferries to Manly and Darling Harbour and did the frightening BridgeClimb Sydney. We hugged koalas everywhere possible, fed kangaroos and wallabies, saw Tasmanian devils, emus, wombats, baby Joeys in pouches, platypi, octopi, dugong and echidnas.
