This video tells you the best things to see, where to stay, and how to plan your time whether you are there pre or post cruise or as a port of call. We tell you where we stayed and what tours we did. We also talk about getting to and from the cruise ship. Sagrada Familia is perhaps the most unique church in the world and is the number one most visited attraction in Spain. It was designed by. Antoni Gaudi The use of light within the church is beautiful. It is very large and we recommend using a tour to see the most of it and a tour also provides admission because it will sell out. Sagrada Familia is too far to walk from the cruise pier. Park Guell was also designed by Gaudi and is very unique with lots a great architecture and use of color. Park Guell will also sell out so a tour is useful here for both the admission ticket and it is too far to walk from the ship. Las Ramblas is a great Boulevard for a fun time of people watching and good food and drinks. We talk about what a great food scene Barcelona has and how to take that all in. We also talk about day trips to both Monserrat and Salvador Dali's House. All the details for the Cruise Bus to get from the ship to the start of Las Ramblas is provided. We stayed at the Hotel Yurbban Trafalgar near the Gothic Quarter. On Day we did a private tour of Sagrada Familia and Park Guell and then a stroll for some Paella and Sangria. On Day 2 we took a walking foodie tour around the gothic quarter and Las Ramblas. We are both chemical engineers and have been to over 45 countries and 70 Cruise Ports.
