http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Steve and I were going to visit Babi Yar on a private, guided tour with Valentina from Kievcitytours, accessing that important site by using the Metro; one Metro entrance happened to be in Independence Square. We walked a few short blocks from The InterContinental Hotel to important Independence Square where very knowledgeable Valentina told about its history. Other Kiev sights in this video were seen on the way back from Babi Yar when we exited at another Metro stop. A more intensive tour of Kiev would be included the next day as part of the Viking River Cruise. Keep watching...
