We were really excited about visiting Belize and decided to do a cruise excursion to see the incredible Altun Ha Mayan Ruins! It's just a short drive from the Belize cruise port. We were absolutely blown away by the Altun Ha Ruins. It was fantastic to learn about the history of the Mayans and how they built this ancient city. Our guide gave us a vivid account of the Mayan city and how the people lived. On the way back from Altun Ha to the Belize cruise port, we stopped at a restaurant right in the jungle for a delicious traditional Belizean lunch. We really enjoyed our visit to Belize City, our Altun Ha Mayan Ruins cruise excursion and our day at the Belize cruise port!
