We spent time in London prior to jumping on Norwegian Prima... but we are back in the UK in port! Technically we dock in Portland, which is an island on the Southern coast of England, but we take a double-decker bus into the town of Weymouth. Everyone has told us that the UK feels completely different outside of London and they were so right! This port town is charming! Everything is in walking distance and there are kind local volunteers when you get off the bus who hand you a map and tell you where to go. Walking along the bay, we see the brightly colored buildings full of shops, restaurants, hotels and pubs. This is a seaside town for the UK residents as well as a port stop for cruise ships. So it has a great local vibe. We walk, we sit on the beach, we have some great food, we walk some more.
