Date Filmed: June 5th, 2021 Hello Friends! We have another big update for you today as we prepare for our first sailing in over 16 months, Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas departing from Nassau Bahamas on June 12th, 2021! We have been patiently waiting for updates and answers regarding what our onboard experiences will be like on this sailing. 'Will we be required to wear masks?' 'Will the buffet be fully operational?' 'Are Royal Caribbean purchased shore excursions required for disembarkation at ports?' 'Will COVID testing be required for boarding?' We finally have all of these answers! However, the answers to these questions greatly depend on your vaccinated situation and age. All adults on this sailing are required to be vaccinated, so for us, we will have little restrictions. Because we are vaccinated, we are not required to wear masks while onboard or at Perfect Day at CocoCay! Also, due to vaccination, we do not need to take a COVID test to fly to the Bahamas or in order to board the ship. For unvaccinated guests, they will be required to wear masks in crowded areas and inside, as well as receive a COVID PCR test 5 days prior to arrival to the Bahamas and a rapid COVID test prior to boarding the ship. There will be adjustments made on the ship to promote social distancing such as limited buffet service, reservation systems for dining and entertainment, and limited capacity at certain venues. We are very excited to get some information about this sailing, and we still remain curious if we will see some of these protocols spill over into U.S. domestic sailings that begin next month. The information provided in this video only applies to our sailing on Adventure of the Seas and we do not yet have confirmation of the protocols that will be in place for those future domestic sailings. We hope you found this video helpful and thanks for watching! We can't wait to sail and we hope you come along with us for all the nautical fun!
