Billund is a small town about 3 hours from Copenhagen, most famous as the Home of the Brick where LEGO was invented! A Billund city break is perfect for any LEGO enthusiast. The LEGO global headquarters is here and most things to do in Billund revolve around LEGO, including the original LEGOLAND theme park and the incredible LEGO House! The Hotel LEGOLAND, LEGOLAND Castle Hotel and LEGOLAND Holiday Village are also in Billund, offering great places to stay, especially for families. During our visit we explored the amazing LEGO House, the original LEGOLAND and even saw the LEGO HQ and factory. But there are also some really great non-LEGO attractions near Billund too. We visited Givskud Zoo Zootopia, one of the best zoos we've been to and the fascinating Kongernes Jelling Viking Museum, Home of the Viking Kings where you'll find the historic Jelling Stones. We LOVED our visit to Billund and Denmark. Seeing all the LEGO attractions was a dream come true for any LEGO fan.
