How would you like to come along with me on Royal Princess for a cruise to Alaska during the summer of 2021? We're getting a group together and you're welcome to join us! Originally scheduled for 2020, the trip had to be re-scheduled to July of 2021 after Covid-19 forced the cancellation of almost the entire 2020 Alaska cruise season. To call this group trip a cruise is actually a bit of an understatement. Some people will just be joining us for the 7-day cruise, but a lot of other people will actually start the trip with a 5-day land and rail tour of Alaska prior to the cruise. And a few affluent travelers will be sticking around after the cruise for a 5-day land and rail tour of Western Canada, too. So, there are three individual segments... and you are free to join me for one, two, or all three of the segments. During the first segment we'll be visit several of the Princess Wilderness Lodges in the interior of Alaska. We'll also ride the Alaska railroad to get from Denali National Park to the coast near Anchorage, to meet our cruise ship for segment #2. That second segment will be a 7-day southbound cruise on Royal Princess. We'll start in Whittier, Alaska, and visit Hubbard Glacier, Glacier National Park, Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan. A highlight will be the opportunity to ride the historic White Pass Railway. The cruise will end in Vancouver, British Columbia. The third segment starts with two days of sightseeing in Vancouver and Victoria... including visits to Granville Island, Stanley Park, and a ride on BC ferries to get us to the world-renowned Butchart Gardens. The third and fourth days will surely be the highlight of the entire trip... one of the most amazing train rides in the world: The Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver to Banff. After all that, we'll fly home from Calgary. Quite a trip! Join me for one, two, or all three segments... that's up to you and your travel budget. Also, during the entire trip, you are always free to run off and do your own thing, or to tag along with us and be part of our group activities.
