It was a pretty straightfoward process- the night before you would put a luggage tag on any large luggage you would like the crew to carry to the terminal holding area for you. We highly advise this if you don't want to lug any luggage around as you go eat breakfast before disembarking. Before you leave the ship you also have to settle your Sail and Sign account. You will get a statement of charges and if you have already provided your credit card prior to boarding, and approve of all the charges, then you're all set in that regard. Also you can give additional extra cash tip to your room steward before leaving which we always do unless in the event of service issues. Great thing about Carnival here is that they don't close the breakfast buffet until 9:30 AM- most other cruise lines shut it down at 9 AM or even 8:30 AM. #carnivalcruise
