Carnival Dream - Cozumel, great day at Nachi Cocom - Beautiful beach and snorkeling experience

Our final port day on the 6 night Carnival Dream cruise in Nov/Dec 2022 was a lot of fun. It was a busy day in Cozumel, with 7 total cruise ships in port that day. We had made reservations to visit Nachi Cocom as we had heard great things about it. You have to make reservations ahead of time as they only have occupancy for 150 people per day. We paid the initial deposit through their website and the remainder had to be paid in cash once at the resort. It is a $18 taxi ride for 2 people from the port. The $59 per person price includes a full meal (one appetizer, one main meal and one dessert) and the food was really good. The price also included all the drinks, we basically just drank waters and sodas. The snorkeling tour was also reserved on their website but we had to paid cash to the third party operator. We went out on a boat about 5 minutes from the shore and the water was deep, you could not stand at any time. It was amazing to see how clear the water was and how many fish there were. We got to see (barely) a sting ray as well as a baby shark which was really cool!
