A Carnival Ecstasy ship tour in May 2019. Ecstasy is currently Carnival's second-oldest ship, launched in 1991 and part of the Fantasy-class. The oldest ship is Fantasy, launched in 1990. One thing you'll notice about Carnival Ecstasy is the lack of balconies. When this ship was launched, there wasn't a huge demand for balconies. During a recent refit, nearly 100 balconies were added to the ship, mostly in the port and starboard midsection and aft. The next dry dock is scheduled for Fall 2019 where the ship is only expected to get some minor cosmetic and technical touch-ups. As of May 2019, Carnival Ecstasy is sailing four and five-night Bahamas cruises from Jacksonville, Florida. Replacing Carnival Elation, that is now sailing from Port Canaveral, Florida. #CarnivalEcstasy #cruise #CarnivalCruise [Social Links] Twitter: http://Twitter.com/cruiseradio Facebook: http://Facebook.com/cruiseradio Instagram: http://Instagram.com/cruiseradio Email: doug@cruiseradio.net
