Today is BOARDING DAY for Carnival Cruise Line's newest and BIGGEST ship yet, and we couldn't be more excited to get on board and check out all the awesome places on this ship. Boarding the cruise ship is always such a special moment on any cruise but that was amplified this time around since this is our FIRST CRUISE BACK in over 22 months!! What an amazing feeling going through the terminal at Port Canaveral, walking up the gangway toward the ship, and stepping onboard the beautiful Carnival Mardi Gras for the first time! After a quick muster check-in, we head to our cove balcony room to drop off some bags before making our way up to the lido deck for some yummy lunch and exploring the ship.
