Carnival Pride - Interior with Window (Obstructed View) - Cabin/Stateroom 4125 -Deck 4 - Main Deck

We sailed onboard the Carnival Pride for a cruise down the Panama Canal in an interior cabin with window (obstructed view). The canal was a major bucket list item for us so when we found the cruise for a ridiculous £450 each, we didn't care that it was an inside stateroom. To our delight, when we were booking, the option of a free upgrade to an inside room with window came up. We had never book this class of cabin before, so were excited to see what we would get. The stateroom was very spacious, as it is essentially a balcony class cabin without the balcony. It was more than comfortable for a couple, especially as our last cruise was in a standard interior room that felt a little cramped. Although the stateroom had an obstructed view, it really wasn't that bad. we got plenty of natural light, as well as a slight view of the sea. As there was a lifeboat directly outside, the french door style windows could not be opened, but again this was not a problem to us. An added benefit of staying on deck 4, main deck, is that is that you only have to go down one floor to the shops and two floors to bars and atrium.
