Back to cruising!!! My wife and I had a cruise scheduled for April 2020 and it was postponed a bunch, but we kept getting credits and such that we got a second room and brought the kids (and had lots of onboard credit!) With rules for kids we had to wait until they were vaxxed and spring break worked out great! After school on Friday we drove to Chicago and hopped on a plane. Plane had a one hour delay and after a $170 cab ride (plus tip) we got into Galveston at just before 2am. Guh! Dex and I got up at dawn and hit the beach and found our first Texas geocache! We also found some guys phone on the beach and were able to reconnect and he forced $20 on us (that we donated to Groove for St Jude). Uber to the port and the check-in went well (thank god for platinum status) and we were eating Guys Burgers for lunch (A top 5 burger anywhere!) We played in the water, danced, partied and caught the sites as we left. A nice dinner followed by some shows and music and early to bed! We're back baby!!!!
