Carnival Vista Cruise Day 6 - Cozumel Mexico Playa Mia Beach Fun March 19-26th

Back to cruising!!! My wife and I had a cruise scheduled for April 2020 and it was postponed a bunch, but we kept getting credits and such that we got a second room and brought the kids (and had lots of onboard credit!) With rules for kids we had to wait until they were vaxxed and spring break worked out great! Third and last stop on this cruise, Cozumel, Mexico. We've been to Cozumel more than any other port (which I think is true for all cruisers) and we've always went to Paradise Beach! We were excited to share this special place with our kids (their first time!) Woke up, grabbed some coffee and a new mug before breakfast and debarkation. Easy cab ride to Paradise Beach. The bummer was they were sold out (even though we asked on Facebook if we could get a non-inclusive pass on sold out days and they said yes we were denied entry.) The cab driver thought of another place and we went there but it sucked (can't remember) and we turned around and while we were hopeful for Mr Sanchos, Playa Mia popped up on our radar. That'll work and we didn't have to do all inclusive. It was pretty rough again in the sea. It was tough not to compare Playa Mia to Paradise Beach and we even walked down to Paradise to check it out. Paradise is smaller and had more people than Playa Mia. The food rates are similar but drinks were cheaper at Playa Mia too. The bummer is the inflatables aren't as good, are pretty far out and you had to wear a life jacket. So we didn't play on them as much but we got to do Aqua Bikes and the pool, beach and everything were all great!!! We had a great time as you've seen! We got back on the boat for an early departure and we hit Red Frog for happy hour. We always just order blue and it's awesome (they have two blue drinks on their menu; no idea which one we got.) But Red Frog happy hour is legit!!! Nina and Dex played with friends then some dinner but no show. Jess and I went hot tubbing and then the skies opened up. We had the hot tub to ourselves for a while but it got to be too much rain. The decks flooded even (guess it was dry 2 hours later which is cool!) Next stop Galveston but not before one more fun day at sea!
