I visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa & the town of Lucca in the Tuscany region of Italy. I visited Pisa and Lucca on a Celebrity Beyond cruise excursion. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of the world's most well-known landmarks. While many visit Pisa to see the tower, many do not know about the history of Pisa and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The nearby village of Lucca is a beautiful town and the walled town of Lucca happens to be the only place in Europe with its original walls still standing. I visit a church in Lucca before taking a walk on top of the walls. Then we head to Pisa to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa and explore the history of Pisa. I visited Pisa and Lucca via a cruise shore excursion from the brand new cruise ship Celebrity Beyond, the newest cruise ship of Celebrity Cruises. Celebrity Beyond had her inaugural sailing in April 2022, followed by an inaugural season in the Mediterranean. Celebrity Beyond is captained by Captain Kate McCue and will be repositioned via a transatlantic cruise in October 2022. The Celebrity Beyond will then be home-ported in Fort Lauderdale, where the new Celebrity Beyond will sail cruises to the Caribbean. This 9-day voyage on Celebrity Beyond will visit Naples, Sicily, La Spezia, Santa Margherita, Nice, and Marseille. Celebrity Beyond will then disembark in Barcelona, Spain.
