Starters The bread and butter - I do not usually eat bread before dinner but I made an exception this time round. It could be the 3 different types of butter offered each night and the aroma of the freshly baked bread! Chilled Prawn Cocktail - We enjoyed the refreshing taste of this appetizer. Prawns were large and tasted fresh, dipped into the cocktail sauce, it kind of worked up your appetite. We think it made a very good start to our dinner. We actually ordered it on several nights. Escargots - Always one of my favorite dish. But this classic dish offered every night were one of the best I had eaten on a main line cruise ship. They were very big, plump and juicy, soaking up the flavorful buttery sauce, giving it a very robust taste. I had bread dipped into the remaining sauce and it tasted so good. Needless to say, I ordered it at least 6 times. Soups - Celebrity did a good job in their soup offerings. You can choose a variety of chilled soup or hot soup. Chilled Pear and Honey Soup was light and refreshing. Chickpea Tomato Soup tasted good too. My most memorable soup has got to be the Asian Consomme. This nondescript looking soup had a very unique taste which I liked. Entrees - Enjoyed the variety and the quality of the food offered on Celebrity. The different pasta dishes we ordered tasted delicious, enjoyed the consistent al dente texture of the pasta. There was not one pasta dish we didn't enjoyed. We enjoyed most the fish dishes too. . Skin was crispy and the fish meat were not overcooked. Oven Roasted Jerk Chicken looked good, meat was tender and not dry. We did not order any beef dishes, but the lamb dishes tasted delicious. I like that the lamb meat did not have a strong gamey taste. The duck dishes were good choices too. Meat were tender and tasted good. Some of the other entrees which we had enjoyed. Seared Salmon, Seared Duck, Grilled Lamb T-Bone, Roasted Trout, Mediterranean Seafood Orzo, Seared Branzino, Slow Braised Lamb wrapped in Phyllo, Toasted Israeli Couscous Cake (first time trying this dish. The name of the dish attracted me and the presentation of the meal was beautifully done. Enjoyed this vegetarian option for a change) ,Slow Roasted Leg of Lamb, Grilled Snapper Filet, Seafood Pappardelle, Honey Glazed Pork Chop, Duck A L Orange. Broiled Lobster Tail - definitely nice to still have lobster tail as a complimentary option :) Chicken Chiquita - first time trying this dish and I kind of like the chicken breast with the banana combo. Desserts - Celebrity definitely have very good pastry chefs. I enjoyed a lot of their desserts in the buffet area, but here are some of our favorites in the main dining room. New York Cheesecake Phyllo Dough Tulip Warm Apple Crumble A La Mode Creme Brulee Crema Catalana Cherries Jubilee Ricotta Cheesecake Chocolate Cake Chocolate Lava Cake Banana Foster - lots of rum flavor Cafe Pot De Creme - not a coffee drinker, but it was recommended by our assistant server. Loved the aroma of the coffee infused in this dessert Celebrity Signature Baked Alaska Blackberry-Anise Nougat Glace
