Chacchoben Mayan Ruins (from the Port of Costa Maya)

The Chacchoben Mayan Ruins have only been open to the public since 2001 and most of the site has yet to be excavated. The structures that have been excavated are pretty impressive and being still surrounded by the jungle create a neat experience. We toured them with an excursion through Celebrity Cruises from the port of Costa Maya during our Celebrity Constellation cruise in November of 2022.
