Welcome to our Corfu Cruise Port vlog! 🇬🇷 In this video, we're sharing the highlights of our day exploring the beautiful Mon Repos Palace and the charming Corfu Old Town. If you're arriving on a cruise ship and wondering about the best way to see the island independently, this is the perfect guide for you! We stopped at Corfu during our MSC Armonia cruise and decided to use the hop-on-hop-off City Sightseeing bus, which picks you up right at the port. It's a great option for cruisers as it gives you the freedom to explore at your own pace. Our first stop was the beautiful Mon Repos Palace, famously the birthplace of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. We'll take you inside the museum and through its lush, historic gardens. Next, we headed to Corfu's Old Town. We'll show you the elegant Liston Promenade in Spianada Square and take you wandering through the winding cobbled lanes known as Kandounia, full of beautiful churches and charming shops. Our tour ends at the New Fortress (Neo Frourio), which offers a great view over the Old Port before we hop back on the bus to the ship. Despite a bit of rain, we had a brilliant day exploring Corfu! The Old Town is absolutely gorgeous, and Mon Repos Palace was a definite highlight.
