Complete farce on this bus, why did they let it out? The farce? Well, it's a soft top bus with a pull over cover but the side window is thick clear plastic with a metal bar to hold it at the bottom with studs. On this bus, the studs had broken, so it flapped about in the wind banging on the side of the bus, funnelling wind and rain on the passengers inside. You'll see and hear it during the journey! Why was this bus allowed to leave the depot like this? Were they so lax they didn't see this coming? The driver was so ill prepared, he resorted to using earphone cables to try to tie it down at one stop. Needless to say, it only lasted a few seconds after he drove off again before it started unravelling. Stromma do say that all their buses are being replaced with all electric ones, so perhaps they've not been maintaining these buses very well in anticipation. Hopefully they will have got the new buses when you come to Oslo. Our Hop-on-hop-off bus in ร…lesund a few days before (same company) was fine. A Hop-on-hop-off bus is a great way to experience a city - especially if you've limited time - so for cruise passengers especially, it makes sense. We arrived by rail in Oslo and had just 2 nights before leaving by bus, so wanted to see as much as possible in that time. The bus takes you to all the places that you wouldn't get to otherwise and is a great way to while away a rainy day - or it would have been if not for the window!
