Today we are visiting the largest island in Mexico, and Cozumel Cruise Port, Puerto Maya. Who can dock here? What do you need to bring? Should you book an excursion? We are giving you a full Cozumel Cruise Port Tour so you can decide what you want to do, when you visit the Puerto Maya Cruise Port. If you are sailing into Cozumel Mexico there are three cruise ports you can stop at. The Puerto Maya Cruise port is where the Carnival Cruise ships docks. This includes other Carnival Brands like Princess Cruises. There is a nice new dock so you do not need to tender and the largest duty free we have seen on a Cozumel Cruise. We enjoyed the open air mall with the trees and water features. If you are looking for some souvenirs there are lots of options and some good food to enjoy. This Cozumel Mexico cruise port does not water access to swim. There is a little beach you can relax and enjoy a drink but no swimming. This is a great port to book excursions especially if you like snorkelling as there are some beautiful areas to enjoy.
